WHAT IS REAL? by SUIR
post-punk / shoegaze / darkwave
Cologne-based post-punk/shoegaze duo SUIR have just revealed the firm date for the release of their third album: NOT ALL OF YOUR PAIN IS SELF CHOSEN will be dropped on October 14, 2022 via This Charming Man Records and bestow 10 new songs on us. The single WHAT IS REAL? was released to the world three days ago, accompanied by a video by in a nervously flickering post-fetish look, and already gives us a taste of the complete work. And if this is only half as good as the statement that “not all of your pain is self chosen”, then we can look forward to something. “What Is Real?” definitely takes things more in the direction of guitar-driven post-punk. But poetic, hypnotic and severely torn by pain, as we know it from SUIR.
The album release will also be accompanied by a tour through Germany, starting on October 12, 2022 in Cologne and with stopovers to Switzerland, Belgium and France (more info to follow).
By the way, with their two tracks Warm Waves and Den Of Thieves the duo was presented in the sixth episode of UNEARTHED, broadcast 31.01.2022.
