STROH ZU GOLD is the title track on TRIALOGOS‘ debut album STROH ZU GOLD, released June 18th 2021. Written and performed by Kiki Bohemia, Conny Ochs and Sicker Man. Produced and mixed by Tobias Vethake, mastered by Andreas LUPO Lubich.
ABOUT TRIALOGOS
TRIALOGOS is a neo-krautrock band from Berlin, consisting of the three multi-instrumentalists Karla Wenzel a.k.a. Kiki Bohemia, who contributes the vocals, rhodes, bass, dictaphone and autoharp, Conny Ochs on acoustic & electric guitars, bass, drums and percussion and Tobias Vethake a.k.a. Sicker Man on cello, guitars, synths, lapsteel and machines. The trio considers their sound as “neo doom kraut”.
On the album STROH ZU GOLD, the different backgrounds and diverse fields of activity of the band members merge into a massive and vivid amalgam of noise, industrial, drone, psychedelic, folk and wave. A large number of influences and directions, skillfully intermixed, as if from one cast. The album was birthed during the pandemic in three separate rooms and then brought together and condensed in a fourth room. The great variety of different moods and atmospheres is probably also due to this aspect of physical separation.
